Istanbul is a major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. Its Old City reflects cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled here. In the Sultanahmet district, the open-air, Roman-era Hippodrome was for centuries the site of chariot races, and Egyptian obelisks also remain. The iconic Byzantine Hagia Sophia features a soaring 6th-century dome and rare Christian mosaics.
The entire flow of the program was 'excellent'. Although , I have decided to withdrawn only 3 days before the end-line , I have learnt a lot . Bunch of thanks !
Overall, I found the content of the course very useful but I found some aspects of the website confusing: 1. There seemed to be no obvious place to enter the course easily (at first - until I discovered the mysterious "arrow"!) 2. The tasks often took much longer than expected because of technical difficulties such as being unable to log in on more than one occasion. 3. Sometimes it was very difficult to get in contact with the other participants, mainly because their email addresses were not in an obvious place - at least to me! Most of the tasks were not insurmountable, but I found it quite stressful to analyse teachers' performance with so many criteria to consider. This is no-one else's fault; just an observation about myself!
Highly recommend. Truly a great experience. Professional tutors and staff, yet kind and considerate. Lovely environment.
