It was useful and practical.
Good balance of input, practice, and feedbavk. Particularly enjoyed and learned a lot fromt he diversity of experiences and backgrounds amongst the tutors.
It was one of the best 4 weeks in my life! Besides the stressful parts and intensity of it all, meeting all the people from around the world and bonding with them was rich and unforgettable! I gained so many great tools and techniques of how to teach, it was very helpful and practical. The info sessions were good usually, and the practice teaching was so good. I actually wish that we could have observed more than just our group teaching. It would have been neat if we could have observed the other teachers in the other groups as well, like perhaps switched around sometimes...I also think the first tutor needs to be very helpful and prepare us well for the next two weeks and what we will need to be strong in as we teach. I also want to mention that learning to write the lesson plans should be implemented strictly, because for our group it was not so strongly enforced, so I think that should be clear in the beginning and made sure that we all know what we are doing as we write our lesson plans.
The trainers were excellent, really experienced and gave great feedback continuously. The overall group was quite large for the input sessions but for the teaching practices we were in smaller groups which was helpful. The stationary supply was great and lots of helpful text book resources.
The experience I had surpassed my expectations. I really enjoyed the time I spent in the input sessions and learned quite a lot from my peers and particularly the TPs and my tutors' comments. Getting to know a lot of lovely people from around the world made the experience super special.
